Strength on Offense: Has a power forward’s physique with a center’s post moves. Will muscle his way in the paint when necessary. Will shoot short jumpers on occasion. Does an able job of looking into the post to pass.
Weakness on Offense: Fumbles the ball too often upon receiving passes in the post. Needs to keep shooting free throws after practice until he graduates from Michigan.
Strength on Defense: Puts a body on the defender. Provides good reliable help defense.
Weakness on Defense: Like most everybody on the team, needs to box out better. Doesn’t have the leaping ability to block shots. Needs to utilize floor spacing to his advantage along with better anticipation in one on one defense.
Summary: Brown’s mix of power forward and center offers an added option to Michigan’s attack. Brown’s always-positive always-hustling attitude is worth the price of admission.
